A crash involving an ice cream truck and two other vehicles in Buena Park sent three people to a hospital Saturday, Dec. 4.
The collision happened near Stanton Avenue and Poinsettia Drive at about 4:30 p.m., Buena Park police said. The truck’s front end was obliterated as it rolled over and came to rest on its side, wedged against a damaged compact SUV at the intersection, as seen in photos posted to social media. A red hatchback missing its front right suspension column and front bumper sat a few yards away as it leaked oil and water onto the street.

Northbound lanes of Stanton were shut down as police and firefighters worked at the scene of the crash.
