PHOENIX — One person is dead and seven others are hurt after a shooting at a house party Saturday night near 67th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.
Phoenix police say at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, they got a report of a shooting with several people hurt.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found people leaving the neighborhood from what was believed to be a house party.

Herrera had left the scene before officers arrived.
On November 14, Herrera was seen inside a home near 107th Avenue and Buckeye Road. Officials say Herrera was found dead inside with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police learned that four people were taken to local hospitals before their arrival, and four people hurt were still on scene.
One of the victims, identified as 37-year-old Patrick Fowler, died at the hospital.
Six other adults were hurt, one critically and the others with non-life-threatening injuries. A teenager also suffered minor injuries.
Police said Monday the shooter is still outstanding and all additional victims are expected to survive.
