Arrest made after man shot, killed near 10th Street and Buckeye Road – ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix

PHOENIX  — Police have arrested a man in connection to a Saturday afternoon deadly shooting in Phoenix.
At about 1 p.m. Saturday, officers arrived on scene near 10th Street and Buckeye Road, where they found a man, identified by police as 40-year-old Tyrone Thompson, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Thompson was arguing with his wife over an “infidelity issue” when his wife fired a gun at their vehicle, according to court paperwork.
The wife then handed the gun to a friend, identified by police as 23-year-old Morion Collins.
An agitated Thompson then approached Collins’ vehicle, and while Collins was inside the front passenger seat, he shot Thompson.
Officials say Thompson was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Authorities later arrested Collins in connection to the shooting and was booked on second-degree murder charges.
